German Lessons for Kids

German Classes for Kids

Students receive the full individual attention of their assigned teacher in our online one-to-one German lessons for kids.

This method allows students to progress quickly and confidently while receiving the necessary supervision. In addition, the teacher can target specific student weaknesses and foster the continuous positive interaction required for effective language learning.

German Playgroup Classes (ages 4-5)

Our German playgroups engage young children in learning German in an age-appropriate manner. All of our classes immerse young learners in the German language through songs, activity and interactivity. Because lessons are private, our experienced teachers will ensure that the student concentrates throughout every class. We focus on making sure each child has fun while learning, as this is the key to positive and long-term development at a young age.

We know that if students are to continue learning German long-term, they must develop an interest in the language and the lessons they are currently attending. During each class, our teachers engage students using songs, games, flashcards, worksheets, and many other activities. All of the above are designed specifically for children who have never been exposed to the German language. The classes will cover topics like greetings, personal introductions, colours, numbers, family, home and city, daily life, and so on.

German Classes for Kids (6-7, 8-9 & 10-12)

The German Cultural Association offers a carefully structured curriculum that aids fun and interactive teaching. This approach is best suited for students aged 6 to 12.

Our German courses keep young students interested in continuing to learn German while making significant progress toward mastery of the language. Lessons are typically held once a week, and some time is spent in each class revising old content to ensure that students remember what they have previously learned. The previous knowledge is then linked to the new concepts of a scheduled class. Each session includes reading, writing, listening, and speaking tasks. These keep young learners engaged at all times, and all aspects addressed are necessary to help students effectively use the language.

Because of our wonderful one-on-one approach, our teaching system is one-of-a-kind. We can ensure that the teacher’s entire attention is on your child, allowing them to learn quickly. Our approach ensures high levels of interaction between teacher and student and high-quality lessons. Every child receives individualised attention to help them stay focused, improve comprehension, and make the most of each lesson.

According to scientific studies, when students learn German at a young age, they can develop unique skills that older students do not have, giving them a critical advantage. Younger children, for example, can easily tackle correct word pronunciation, whereas older teenagers or adults may struggle.

Another advantage of starting to learn German at a young age is that children can develop better listening skills than older students. Listening is always the most difficult skill for students to learn, especially among adults. The earlier a learner begins to learn a language, the greater their competitive advantage in this critical field of communication.

Allow your child to begin learning German at a young age to ensure that they will be able to master the language in the future.
