I have more than one child and would like to schedule individual lessons for each. How can I do that in the GCA portal?

If you have more than one child, you can also manage your lessons online. However, you first have to create a family account and add all of your children. After that, please contact us via WhatsApp or email, so we can assign your kids a teacher, that fits their age and needs.

I have two kids. Can they take the lessons together?

Yes, this is possible. Please contact us via WhatsApp to get an overview of the special rates that apply in this case.

Do you offer special packages for long term courses?

How early in advance do I need to book a lesson?

You can schedule lessons up to 18 hours in advance.

Will I get a new Zoom-Link for each lesson?

No, the Zoom link will always be the same for each lesson. You can find the link to the teacher’s individual online classroom in the student portal (or your initial confirmation email if you booked a trial via the website).

Do you offer any bonus if I refer a friend/family?

Yes, we also have a small referral program. Simply contact us on WhatsApp to learn more.

How can I reschedule/cancel a lesson? Are there any changing fees?

Lessons can be rescheduled in the student portal. Simply log in with your account and select the lesson you would like to reschedule/cancel. Additionally, you can request additional lessons by suggesting your teacher your preferred time directly in the portal.
Rescheduling or cancelling a lesson is free of charge up to 24 hours before the lesson’s scheduled start. As the tutors have already prepared your lesson and the date is kept free just for you, we, unfortunately, cannot accept a postponement or cancellation of the lesson within 24 hours of the start of the lesson. The lesson will then be considered as “missed” and will be added to your monthly invoice. Please always make sure to cancel the lesson in the student portal. You will receive a confirmation about your cancellation via email.

Do you offer face to face or online classes?

We offer both Face to face classes that can be in our TST or CWB locations and Online Classes via Zoom.

What is the Language of Instruction for your students?

Our teachers often employ a flexible approach, using both English and German as the primary languages of instruction, ensuring that children steadily build their German language proficiency while meeting the individualized learning needs of each student.

How many lessons do you recommend?

To determine a more accurate timeline and the number of lessons required to reach your desired level of proficiency, we recommend trying our Trial Lesson, where you will be assessed by a qualified German teacher.

Can I claim the government funds (CEF) to pay for my course?

Our private lessons are not covered by the CEF. However, our lessons are specifically structured to deliver exceptional, personalized attention and a tailored learning experience to accommodate each student's individual pace and requirements.

Does your program follow the CEFR?

Our course structure is meticulously designed to align with the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (CEFR). This ensures that upon completing our courses, students achieve a language proficiency level that's internationally recognized and accepted.

Can unused prepaid packages be refunded?

Unused hours from Prepaid packages are non refundable.

Can we try a trial class first?

We offer paid private trial classes. For playgroups, kids, and teens groups, you are welcome to join a trial class first to experience our teaching style before committing to the regular weekly class.

My kids are aged 6yo and 10yo, can they be together in a private class or group?

Due to the significant age gap between the kids, we do not recommend placing them in the same private class or group, considering the age difference. The learning pace of a 6-year-old differs significantly from that of a 10-year-old. That is why we have group classes that are dedicated for different ages.

Is it possible to cancel a group class if my child cannot attend a specific session?

Our group classes are a monthly plan for four lessons. We understand that students may occasionally miss a class due to not feeling well or conflicting schedules with other activities. If they can't make it to a class, no worries! We'll arrange a free catch-up class in another group.
