About Us

Enjoy the most impressive learning outcomes through private and online lessons.

The German Cultural Association of Hong Kong seeks to make the German language, culture, and traditions more accessible to our community. We strive to bring the essence of Germany to Hong Kong through our high-quality German lessons, activities, events, and workshops.

The four main pillars of our teaching team guarantee our long-term success:

  1. High comprehension of various German syllabi enables us to teach efficiently.
  2. Experienced, qualified and motivated native teacher team to help you on your learning journey.
  3. Private one-on-one lessons ensure that students can effectively learn and use German.
  4. Capacity to offer tailor-made lessons adapted to every individual student.

Quality is the principal priority of the German Cultural Association of Hong Kong. Every new member of our team must have a long and trackable history of German teaching experience. Furthermore, our new teachers stay up to date with all the latest teaching techniques, curriculum changes, and more with the help of our expert coordinators.

OUR TEACHERS

Each member of our German teaching team is an expert in a different field. Some instructors specialise in teaching toddlers and young children, while others concentrate on exam prep or the organisation of activities and workshops. We have assisted many students in achieving their education goals over the years. We can help whether you are excited to learn about German culture and lifestyle or want to improve your German for fun and travel. Perhaps you are looking to advance your career or attain a high score on a particular German exam. No matter what you require, we connect you to the most suitable member of our team, one who specialises in your field of interest. Our teachers are here to help you succeed.

The German Cultural Association teaches German from beginning to end of the learning journey: German for young kids, teenagers, adults, professionals, all the way to teacher training. Benefit from our extensive experience and expertise. Our team will be with you each step of the way. We believe in educating students beyond the confines of the classroom. You will engage in meaningful personal growth along the way rather than solely following a specific curriculum.

We are working hard to bring people together and create cross-cultural communities. We broaden the horizons of our students and inspire our employees to be the best they can be through international communications.

OUR TEACHING

In recent years the German Cultural Association has made a concerted effort to provide quality German lessons wherever you are. We now offer online German classes, ideal for those who prefer to stay at home due to covid-19 concerns or want to cut their travel time. Having said that, for a small fee, our team can travel to your location whenever necessary. We strive to provide every one of our students with a consistently high-quality and convenient learning experience.

Our academic coordinators are always available to assist those interested in learning German who have questions about their learning path or current learning status. We are here to help you get started, answer your questions, and reach your German learning objectives as quickly as possible. Coordinators are also in charge of assessing student levels and providing teachers with ongoing support. They consistently train teachers on newly available materials, modifications to the curriculum, and other relevant updates. You are always in good hands with our knowledgeable and helpful coordinators.

In addition, the German Cultural Association organises frequent events to promote German culture and language. Participate in movie screenings, cultural workshops, language exchanges, and many other activities promoting better German culture and language understanding. Please contact us if you would like to participate in any of our events. We will keep you updated on all future activities. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any suggestions for promoting the German language and culture. We are always open to new ideas and projects.
